Downtown housing is mostly high-rise condos, mid-rise apartments and converted lofts. There is no driveway and rarely a curb you can legally work from, so the move runs through a service entrance, a loading dock and an elevator that has to be booked. Most buildings want proof of insurance from the mover before that booking exists.
