Between Coast Highway 101 and the ridge, Encinitas stacks its homes on the hillside. The cottage with the view has a switchback path. The remodel above Moonlight Beach has its own outdoor staircase before the front door. Plenty of movers price that pain by the flight. Packed for the coast
Beach houses collect fragile things: ceramics, framed prints, the record collection. Our packing crews wrap and label all of it, so the box that goes down the hillside stairs arrives exactly as it was packed.
Up to 500 pounds, downhill
A classic upright runs up to 500 pounds, and in Encinitas it tends to live up a grade or behind a landing that turns. Our piano movers bring the skid boards, the ramps and the patience to get it off the hillside without a scratch.
