Most of these homes are two-story, with the primary bedroom, the office and the deep closets all upstairs, and a garage doing double duty as storage.
So we quote the whole house up front, upstairs rooms and garage included, and size the crew to what is actually in it rather than to the smallest team that fits. Stairs, banisters and door frames get protected before the heavy pieces move. The number you approve is the number you pay when the last box comes off the truck.

Two to four weeks is comfortable for a summer date, and the first and last few days of a month go fastest anywhere. We do run seven days a week including holidays, so a short-notice date is usually findable, just with less choice of start time.

That is a staging move, and it is a normal booking for us. We take out what the agent flags, store it while the house is on the market, and move it to the new address or back in once escrow closes. One crew handles both ends. See the service →
