Asked before every pack.
Yes. With full packing you never touch a box: the crew empties your drawers, cabinets and closets and packs everything before it rides the truck. Packing yourself instead? We move it either way — just empty the dressers first so nothing shifts in transit.
Furniture gets wrapped in moving blankets and shrink wrap, secured with tape. In the truck, the load is arranged strategically and strapped so nothing moves until we set it down at the new place.
Jewelry and important documents. Irreplaceable valuables travel best in your own care, and we can't be liable for items that never make it onto our inventory list.
For safety and legal reasons: pets, chemicals, alcohol, firearms, fresh food, plants, paint, fireworks and other hazardous materials. Not sure about a specific item? Ask, and we'll tell you straight.
Basic coverage of $0.60 per pound per item is included free, as the Department of Transportation requires, and you can add third-party coverage for more protection. Need a Certificate of Insurance? We prepare it before the move and email it to you and your building management.
