“There are many moving companies, but there is only one Flexdolly.”

2016 · The couch
A borrowed couch is a strange place to start a company.
Nas grew up in Morocco. In 2016 he landed in San Diego and slept on a friend's couch: new country, no safety net, everything still to prove. Nothing about that year looked like the origin of a moving company. It was one anyway.

2020 · One pickup truck
One pickup truck and a promise.
“We started with a pickup truck and a grudge against an industry that felt like a jump scare.”
Flexdolly, founded 2020. A U.S. Army soldier and a college student, and one promise that never changed: the quote you get is the price you pay.

2021 · Two uniforms
Serving the country and the customers, the same year.
In 2021 Nas enlisted in the California Army National Guard while running Flexdolly. Two uniforms, one standard: show up on time, do the job right, own the outcome. The company never paused while its founder wore camo.

2022 · Dallas
Dallas asked if the standard travels.
In 2022 Flexdolly opened a second market in Dallas. New city, new crews, the same livery and the same rules. It proved the standard travels, and it taught us where we are strongest.

2024 · The merge
Anthony brings Texas into the family.
Anthony built MovingUp ATX in Texas the same way Nas built Flexdolly in California: by hand. In 2024 the two companies merged under one name and one livery. Brotherhood, now on paper. In 2026 we made the call to consolidate everything back into San Diego County, so every truck, every crew and every desk serves one place properly rather than four places thinly.

2026 · The interlude
Then the cameras showed up.
In 2026 Flexdolly became the debut feature of Alex Hormozi's Scale or Fail, with the founders coached on camera about scaling without letting the standard slip. The episode is public. So is the bar it sets.

Still personal
I’ve personally created a pricing system so fair, you’ll never wonder if you got a deal on your move.
Six years in, the pricing desk never moved to a call center. Tell us where you are and where you're going, and the number that comes back was set by the person whose name is on the company.
- No fuel surcharges
- Stairs and long carries priced in the survey
- No hidden anything. The quote is the price
