An Ocean Beach cottage was framed decades before anyone owned a sectional. The doorways run narrow, the stairs turn hard, and the wood you are asking us to carry has been drinking salt air since it arrived. So every piece gets blankets first, shrink wrap over, straps in the truck, the full standard, whether it is one dresser or the whole house.
It is the same reason our piano movers treat an upright coming down an OB staircase as a rigging plan, not a dare. Between the salt air and the narrow stairs, you want the crew with the gear and the patience.

Most small moves run $400–600, and you can book a single mover when that is all the job needs.
Yes. We hoist large furniture like couches over balconies, wrapped in blankets and shrink wrap before it swings. Narrow cottage staircases get the slow, deliberate treatment, and if a bed frame or table has to come apart to make the turn, our furniture assembly crew rebuilds it at the other end.
Yes, and please do not move your trash to a new house. Old futons, broken appliances, the garage stuff that has been sitting since 2015: our junk removal crew hauls it away, and we recycle and donate whenever we can.
