Orange County

Fountain Valley movers, for houses families have held for decades

Fountain Valley was built almost all at once. Around two thirds of the city is single-family tract housing from the 1960s and 1970s, three and four bedrooms on lots of roughly 6,000 to 9,000 square feet, each with a driveway, an attached garage and a wide flat street out front. That makes the move less about the approach and more about what is inside: decades of one family in one house, a garage that has never been fully emptied, and a floor plan that has to be cleared in a single day.

The neighborhood

Flat ground, wide streets, and the house itself

Fountain Valley sits at about thirty feet above sea level and it is flat nearly everywhere. There are no canyon roads, no hillside driveways and no coastal permit zones to work around, so a full-size truck usually parks in the driveway or at the curb and stays there for the whole job. The grid helps as well. Brookhurst, Euclid, Warner, Edinger, Talbert and Slater run straight and wide, Mile Square Regional Park takes up a full square mile between Edinger and Warner and between Brookhurst and Euclid, and the 405 crosses the middle of the city past the Talbert Avenue office corridor where Hyundai's US headquarters sits. Access is the easy part of a Fountain Valley move.

What slows the day down is the house. The tract plans of that era have narrow hallways, tight L-shaped staircases in the two-story models and original doorways that a modern sectional was never measured for, so the sofa, the armoire and the safe get their own plan before anything is loaded. The exceptions are the planned pockets and townhome tracts, Green Valley and the Fountain Park townhomes across from Mile Square Park among them, where an association sets the rules on shared driveways and guest parking. Tell us which one you are in when you book and we sort the access before the truck leaves.

Local Residential Moving

Three or four bedrooms, one story or two, driveway to driveway inside Orange County. Because the streets are wide and almost every house has its own driveway, the truck parks once and the load and unload happen the same day without a shuttle.

Downsizing after forty years

Senior Moving

Fountain Valley filled up in one generation and many of those houses are still with their first or second owners. We work at the pace a forty-year house needs: labeled room by room, the pieces that matter kept with the person who owns them, and updates to adult children calling in from out of state.

Garage, side yard and shed

Junk Removal

A lot that size comes with an attached two-car garage, a side yard and usually a backyard shed, and decades in one house fills all three. We can haul on the same visit as the move so the place is clear for the walkthrough instead of leaving a pile behind for somebody else.

02 / STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions we get from Fountain Valley

No. Flexdolly is a veteran-owned San Diego company, founded in 2020, and Orange County is covered by the San Diego operation on the California line, (858) 733-0775. The crews cover Fountain Valley routinely. We schedule the truck to arrive at your door at the agreed time rather than claiming a storefront down the street.

Rarely. Fountain Valley's residential streets are wide and most of the tract houses have a driveway deep enough to take the truck, so we park once and stay put. The pockets worth a phone call first are the townhome tracts with shared driveways and assigned guest parking, such as Fountain Park across from Mile Square Park. Name the complex when you book and we arrange access ahead of the day.

Yes. Junk removal can run alongside the move, which is the usual request here because the garage, side yard and shed have been filling since the 1970s. Walk us through what stays, what goes to the new place and what leaves for good, and the haul is quoted with the move rather than as a separate trip.

It happens often on a long-held family home. The deposit starts at $100, it comes off your total, and it is refundable with 48 hours' notice, so a date change costs you nothing as long as you tell us in time. We run 24/7 including holidays, which usually means the replacement date is still open.

Yes. Orange County is covered by the same San Diego operation that started in 2020, one county south, reachable on (858) 733-0775. Same crews, same CAL-T licensed and insured company, same guaranteed price.
