The neighborhood
The hillside tracts above Yorba Linda Boulevard were graded into the slope, so the street, the pad, the garage and the front door are rarely on one level. A long private driveway looks generous right up until a 26 foot truck has to reverse down it, and several of the newer streets off Bastanchury Road curve tight enough that we stage a smaller shuttle truck instead of parking across a lane. Down on the older flat lots the constraint is the opposite: modest single-story houses, deep back yards, mature street trees sitting low over the curb, and forty years of garage and attic that nobody has weighed.
Then there is the paperwork. Gated communities and the larger associations here typically want a certificate of insurance on file before anyone waves a truck through, and many restrict move hours to certain days. We send the COI ahead and confirm the window with the management company when you book, so the gate is not where your move day stalls. Timing matters too. The 91 through the Santa Ana Canyon and Imperial Highway across the middle of the city both bind up in the afternoon, so we schedule load and delivery around those hours rather than through them.
